As soon as you get off the ferry and arrive in Amsterdam is you are going to be visiting many museums whilst you visit, its worth mentioning the Museum card for Amsetrdam and other Museums in Holland
The Card is a personal pass to allow entry to over 400 museums in the Netherlands. It's valid for a year and usualy costs about 40 euro, or cheaper depending on the age of the consumer.
In Amsterdam itself 29 museums are included within the card. You can get hold of the card in selected museums.
